Just got started on camp last summer. There are a few photo's of it in it's "roughed in" state posted. It's located in Michigans upper peninsula where my family has been hunting for years. The idea was to create something unique that could sleep four and serve as a camp for all seasons. My kids and buddies enjoy hunting the other side of the bridge also and the idea was to make a place for everyone to use and enjoy. The job began last summer and my brother Bob coordinated the entire project. My son's Nick and Joe pitched in as did my bro-in-law Shannon. It's located close to Bob's cabin (also a member here). We spent three weekends of time and got it roughed in and weather tight.
It's a 12 sided structure with each outside wall about 4' long which makes it about 16' across. It has a loft which sleeps 3 and a staircase to get up there. Kinda wanted it to resemble one of those African thatch roof huts. It has many names at this time:The ZooLoo Hut, The Adobe, The Dozagon (12 sides), etc.
Plan to finish it when the weather breaks and be ready for next deer/bear/grouse/duck/squirrel/chipmunk/whatever.... season (we hunt 'em all).
We like to shoot stuff in Wyoming and sail the Hobie also (see photo's)
